1. Project Background: A Manufacturer with International Business Experience Expands into Thailand
The client is a display product developer and manufacturer from Guangdong. Its business covers monitors, display modules and related electronic products. It combines product design, research and development, and manufacturing capabilities, with experience serving overseas brand customers.
In establishing a factory in Thailand, the client needed to extend its manufacturing business into a new operating environment, establish a Thai subsidiary, and complete the related company registration, tax registration, investment promotion application and business documentation.
THAIHOUSING was instructed to handle the subsidiary establishment and investment entry work throughout the process, from company formation to obtaining the BOI investment promotion certificate and Foreign Business Certificate (FBC).
2. Scope of Work: Supporting the Key Stages of Establishing the Thai Subsidiary
THAIHOUSING undertook the following work for this project:
Thai company formation: registering the Thai subsidiary and establishing the legal entity for the client’s investment and business in Thailand.
Tax registration: completing the subsidiary’s relevant tax registration following company formation.
BOI investment promotion application: handling the project’s BOI application and following it through to receipt of the investment promotion certificate.
Capital increase: handling the subsidiary’s capital increase during the project and completing the corresponding corporate registration.
FBC application: handling the application for the Foreign Business Certificate (FBC) and following it through to the client’s receipt of the certificate.

3. Results: From Incorporation to Receipt of the Key Certificates
By the time this case study was prepared, THAIHOUSING had completed the instructed company registration, tax registration and capital increase work, and had assisted the client in obtaining:
- The BOI investment promotion certificate;
- The Foreign Business Certificate (FBC).
The results are reflected in completed registrations and documents actually obtained: the Thai subsidiary has been established, the relevant tax registration and capital increase have been completed, and both the BOI certificate and FBC have been obtained.
Together, these steps provide an important foundation for the client’s investment establishment in Thailand.
